DET was recently retained to manage the drilling operations for an Operator with assets in the Permian Basin and South Texas. DET leveraged the operator's extensive field data and researched competitor performance to develop a plan that would achieve the Operators goal of an “ideal wellbore” to maximize the well for its entire lifespan. Design efforts were aligned to enable the reliable installation of a tapered string design that utilized sliding frac sleeves in the lateral. The resulting operations led to a field record while delivering on the Operators goals.

We are very excited about the recent growth in our company.   To better serve our customers DET has added several Completions / Production Project Managers & Supervisors in Q4 of 2019 and Q1 of 2020. We are managing more and more of our customer's completions & production projects bringing our proven performance to every aspect of our wells.   

Our STX program is going strong from Lavaca county down to McMullen county. We have brought top level performance to operator after operator with our rigline. We are currently filling the rigline schedule for Q2 of 2020 and adding our second rigline for Q4 2019 & Q1 2020.  

DET drilled a 5 well package for Silo Resources in Q3 of 2019 and is returning to start a continuous rigline in the DJ basin at the end of Q4. We are currenlty working with our customers on slotting projects into the schedule for Q1 &Q2 of 2020.

Our continuous project performance team moved from Recoil to 1776 and brought their project top level performance on the first well in Gonzales County. Spud to TD was 5.6 days with a total measured depth of 16,128'. Curve & lateral were drilled in a combined 33 hours in one run. The project came in $600K under budget. DET is now in the process of fracking the wells drilled and handling all completions. 

DET managed the project for Recoil Resources and successfully drilled a 9,400' open hole completed lateral in the lower Austin Chalk. Spud to TD was 11.6 days and total measured depth was 16,672'. The well was drilled utilizing under balanced and mpd techniques and came in under AFE. Our years of Austin Chalk experience and new technology combined together made for a great project. 

DET managed a project in Panola County and successfully drilled a 21,051' Haynesville Shale well in 19.6 days.  There was over 10K' of completed lateral.   This came in 10 days from the operators previous record and was the fastest well drilled in the field.    Our abliity to bring our continuous program performance to a 2 well package in the Haynesville shows the abilities and repeatability of our program.
